Held last June 30, 2022 at Malayan Colleges Mindanao, Mapua School, McArthur Highway Davao City, was the 2022 World Day Against Child Labor spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment XI (DOLE XI) Davao City Field Office (DCFO) regulating the Child Labor Prevention and Elimination Program (CLPEP). Among the private sectors who took part in granting the wishes of the one hundred (100) child laborers was PERA MPC, wherein sponsored monetary assistance for items included in the raffle.
Granted assistance had been given to DOLE XI - DCFO CLPEP, in coordination with the Child Labor Community Facilitator, Mr. Keith Bryann M. Bolivar, and his team at PERA MPC Buhangin Satellite dated June 13, 2022, whom fervently extended their regards and acknowledgement towards the cooperative.
Child labor and exploitation are forms of child abuse and undeniably illegal. Children, from all races, need not earn money but knowledge.
